Devon Meadows Primary School runs an extended orientation program for Kinder students preparing to enter Prep. A number of short sessions are held at school beginning in June. These events are designed to assist children in becoming familiar with school to ensure they are ready to go on day one of Prep. It also provides families the opportunity to gain information about our school and things that can be done to prepare your child for school. Children do not need to be enrolled in our school to participate in the Prep transition program, however we do ask that parents ‘book-in’ by contacting the office prior to the day so we can appropriately cater for the attendance. More information about the transition program can be found in our ‘Step Into Prep’ brochure or by contacting the office.
